María Teresa Carbajo Rueda

8th March 2018 was a historic day for women at the University of León, especially at the Veterinary Faculty of this university: María Teresa Carbajo Rueda was named the first dean in the history of the Faculty.

She is Licentiate and PhD in Veterinary Medicine from the University of León, and Professor of Medicine and Surgery, in the Animal Reproduction Unit of the Faculty of Veterinary in the University of León.

In addition, she participates in research projects for the conservation of animal genetic resources of autochthonous domestic races and has co-directed several doctoral theses and Master's Theses, whose results have been collected in numerous scientific articles published in international journals.
