Gabriela Morreale: author of the heel test

Gabriela Morreale was born in Italy but in Spain she developed her research work and she applied the results of her work. She died at the end of 2017.

She is known for being the creator of the heel test, which is currently done to thousands of newborns in our country in a systematic way to prevent nutritional deficiencies that may lead later to problems of physical and mental development.
