Celia Sánchez-Ramos

Celia Sánchez-Ramos is a Spanish chemist and researcher in the area of the protection and prevention of the sight. She likes this job because her parents run an optician’s when she was a little girl and they won the money she needed to pay her school and university.

She has been teacher at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid since 1986. She is also the founder of a laboratory and investigation group of Madrid.

With her work she has supported the translation of the scientist awareness to the society. She has given lessons to teachers at universities like the Universidad de la Plata and in the last fifteen years she has obtained positive and excellent qualifications in the teaching evaluation.

Moreover, she is responsible of almost thirty inventions and she has some awards.
